RNP SWAT Teams participate in UAE SWAT Challenge 2024
5th February - Ambassador John Mirenge welcomed a team of Rwanda National Police Officers who participated in the UAE SWAT Challenge 2024. On the final day of the UAE SWAT Challenge, Rwanda National Police SWAT Team-1 claimed first place in the Obstacle Course, defeating 72 elite SWAT teams from all over the world.
The UAE SWAT Challenge, hosted by Dubai Police, is a challenge that tests and celebrates tactical brilliance, precision, and teamwork. This year, the RNP was represented by two SWAT teams in the five-day Challenge, which started on February 3, in Dubai.
